As a product analyst on the personal auto product team, you’ll be responsible for analysis supporting the growth and profitability of the personal auto product in a state. Understanding trends in our data, solving business problems, and proposing data-based solutions are all part of a role that supports a team making decisions about the overall rate level for a state. With the opportunity to engage with partners in many other parts of the organization to find the appropriate solution for the state, this role provides insight into how our business grows and remains profitable, while allowing you to influence strategic considerations. Must-have qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of three years analytical work experience
- Instead of a quantitative degree, a bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of five years of analytical work experience
- Instead of a degree, a minimum of six years of analytical work experience
Preferred skills
- Proven time management skills
- Demonstrated application of mathematics, statistics, probability and principles of finance to property casualty business problems
- Basic technical aptitude and experience in data manipulation using tools such as SAS, SQL, R or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Advanced skills in Excel including the ability to create, manipulate and formulate spreadsheets, v-look-ups, pivot tables, charts and graphing
Compensation
- $66,300 -$88,400/ year
- Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
