As a Senior or Lead Data Scientist with the Machine Learning Engineering team, you’ll advance the use of technology, machine learning, applied statistics and large sets of labeled data to develop solutions across multiple business units and IT.  You'll work across the enterprise to identify and implement solutions, promote best practices, and advocate for the data science community.  In this exciting role, you'll have a direct impact on machine learning, engineering, leadership, and business consulting.  You'll own the end-to-end model development and deployment process, going from idea to production. You'll work closely with the business and IT to shape the future of data science teams and best practices for the data science lifecycle. Remote work allowed.

Must-have qualifications

• Master's degree or higher with quantitative focus in Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related field (e.g. Mathematics).
• In lieu of the above, Bachelor's degree with quantitative focus in Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related field (e.g. Mathematics) and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Statistical/Quantitative Modeling and/or Machine Learning tools (R, Python, etc.) and in using various database tools (e.g. Hadoop, SQL) processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Statistical/Quantitative Modeling and/or Machine Learning tools (R, Python, etc.) and in using various database tools (e.g. Hadoop, SQL) processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

Preferred skills

• Delivered multiple customer-facing products, models, and systems into production
• Two years of experience using Linux, GitHub (version control), public cloud infrastructure and mathematical model creation; with machine learning and statistical model creation and/or evaluation, EDA, feature engineering, hypothesis testing, and experimental design
• Skilled in Linux, SQL, Bash & highly proficient in Python
• Demonstrated thought leadership in data driven decisioning that had a tangible impact on business and ability to perform in an ambiguous environment  

Compensation

• $80,300 - $147,500/year depending on position level and experience
• Gainshare bonus up to 30% - 40% (depending on position level) of your eligible earnings based on company performance
