We are looking for an ambitious, data-focused performance marketer to join our team. At ezCater, Marketing Analysts are critical to driving experimentation, modeling customer behavior and building frameworks to support both customer experience and the growth of our business. 

The Performance Marketing Analyst is primarily responsible for optimizing performance media programs with a heavy emphasis on Search (SEM), Predictive Display/Video and Direct Mail.  This role reports to the Manager of Marketing Analytics and is embedded within Marketing: you will work alongside the VP and Directors of Performance Marketing channels to support the business strategy and will be responsible for delivering insights that drive, optimize and grow ezCater’s brand. 
 
Marketing Analysts at ezCater leverage a diverse set of educational and professional backgrounds to bring creative solutions to our business’ largest opportunity spaces. We leverage data from multiple sources (first and third party) and use advanced analytical techniques to derive impactful insights that build a foundation for strong business partnerships. Our work doesn’t end with a report; but rather lives in our marketing strategy and decision making processes over the long term.

What You'll Do:

    • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Data Science, and Engineering to develop and test new models, audiences and messaging to further grow channels
    • Participate in the design, execution, and analysis of media and web A/B/n and Multivariate experiments with a specific focus on deriving actionable insights from experimental activities
    • Serve as an expert on overall PPC performance and strategy; answering analytical questions and running regular meetings with senior stakeholders
    • Deliver data and analyses to stakeholders across the Marketing department that lead to actionable insights to support and drive both strategic and tactical data-driven decision making
    • Develop models and automated processes to optimize marketing bidding strategies
    • Build reports, dashboards, and alerts to monitor performance of the Digital Marketing team’s key success metrics
    • Identify opportunity areas for new digital marketing campaigns and improved marketing efficiencies through campaign and customer value analysis
    • Create and evolve channel performance reporting capabilities to support Marketing team and broader organization by providing access and transparency to critical data
    • Plan, implement, and measure experiments and conversion tests across your portfolio of digital marketing programs

What You Have:

    • 4-6 years experience in digital performance marketing, management consulting, startup/tech, agency, and/or strategy roles with a heavy analytical emphasis
    • Ability to analyze and synthesize complex data sets, with a proven track record of driving outcomes through insights.
    • Experiences measuring and optimizing performance marketing campaigns, with specific experience leveraging advanced audience targeting methodologies.
    • Experience working with digital campaign data across multiple platforms Google/DSPs/ESPs/Social UIs in combination with cloud data warehouses.
    • Fluency in SQL and Excel modeling required. R, Python, or other statistical programming languages a plus
    • Experience aligning and operating across multiple attribution modeling methods (e.g. multi-touch and Marketing Mix Modeling) 
    • Proficient in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager
    • Strong quantitative capabilities with advanced technical skills  
    • Experience with DataRobot is preferred
    • Experience with Tableau is a plus
    • A sharp mind, a soft heart and a large funny bone.
Starting Salary: $79,000 - $99,000
