ezCater is looking to bring on a seasoned Senior Manager to lead our Sales and Account Data Science and Analytics team leveraging our rich data assets to identify and drive new growth opportunities. This leader will lead and work alongside a team of Data Scientists and Analysts to create the models, metrics and data insights that drive our Sales programs and initiatives. Working with our Chief Revenue Officer and Sales and Marketing groups, the team will define the predictive and causal impact models to accelerate our customer acquisition programs. The Data Science and Analytics that powers our Sales programs includes everything from experimentation, data enrichment to lead scoring models and pipeline performance measurement.
Our ideal candidate will have proven, hands-on experience implementing a range of Data Science methods and integrating external data with experience driving the Data Science and Analytics behind a growth program. The role reports into the Chief Data Officer.
What You'll Do:
Partner directly with our Sales and Marketing leaders to develop, implement and improve the Analytics and Data Science across lead qualification, lead scoring, goal setting for “share of wallet”, sales pipeline insights and forecasting.
Oversee customer and prospect data and enrichment initiatives. Assess data quality and Partner with business to Identify new data sources to enrich our data. Partner with our Data Engineering team to direct development efforts.
Own and develop the strategic 6-12 month analytics roadmap and agenda to deliver against our biggest business opportunities.
Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a growing team of technical analysts and Data Scientists.
Develop scalable analytic processes, methods, and self-service tools to ensure other analysts and partners are empowered to make data-driven decisions
Guide and direct analysts’ deep-dive advanced statistical and data science analyses (e.g. predictive models, classification, etc)
Collaborate with all facets of the organization including engineering to identify, capture, access and stream the data you need to drive our business results.
What You Have:
Have 6-10 years experience in a relevant field, such as Sales analytics or data science, performing quantitative and technical analysis.
Strong preference for candidates with experience leading B2B Sales or Marketing Data Science and Analytics teams with track record of lead generation and measurement.
Past experience leading individual contributors and/or large projects with multiple contributors
Self-directed and demonstrated ability to define, prioritize, and direct Analytics and Data Science initiatives
Experience proactively identifying areas where analytical efforts can add strong business value and setting the analytics roadmap for a team.
Demonstrated proficiency in explaining complex analysis and models to stakeholders at all levels of the organization and translating conclusions into straightforward and actionable business terms.
Expert proficiency in python and experience with wrangling data from large data assets.
Expert conducting quantitative analyses on with large, complex data sets using modern data exploration and visualization software (e.g. Snowflake, Looker, Tableau, Google Data Studio, PowerBI)
Demonstrated success in communicating with and influencing senior level stakeholders on strategic direction based on recommendations backed by in-depth analysis.
The national cash compensation range for this role is $175,000 - $225,000*.
