The Marketplace Dynamics team at ezCater is growing! As we look towards 2024 and beyond, data is a key strategic component across the company - from advanced, real-time machine learning to business intelligence and data governance. The ideal candidate enjoys machine learning and cares about driving direct business impact through the use of data. You will have the opportunity to work directly with stakeholders as we embark on a massive-scale data effort across the organization, so flexibility and the ability to translate business requests into implementations are key.

What You'll Do:

• Apply relevant AI and machine learning techniques to build intelligent systems that improve ezCater products and experiences.
• Put NLP models and pipelines into production.
• Write and ship code. Mostly in Python.
• Work directly with stakeholders to refine requirements, nail down calculations, and debug machine learning applications and architecture.
• Produce high-quality machine learning applications and tools to ensure they meet the underlying business needs.
• Deploy, maintain, upgrade, and support those tools and applications.
• Identify opportunities to optimize or scale existing parts of our stack.
• Monitor machine learning pipeline performance and cost estimations while looking for ways to drive down our operational costs while improving quality.
• Work alongside Software Engineers and Data Scientists while contributing to team processes and community.
• Be part of our innovation and transformation story.

What You Have:

• A background in modern production programming languages is required. Python is preferred. Knowing Ruby is a plus.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD best practices.
• Comfortable with popular machine learning frameworks and how to apply various algorithms appropriately in a software engineering-focused manner. 
• Familiarity with MLOps and components of the Machine Learning/ML Ops ecosystem.
• Proficiency in SQL is ideal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• An open mind and willingness to be flexible. We have a large and complex business and believe in driving real value out of every project we do.
• Our technology stack consists of Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, AWS, Sagemaker, MLFlow, Kubernetes + Docker. Any experience you have with these tools is a bonus.

The national cash compensation range for this role is $141,000 - $175,000* per year.
