Data and analytics are critical to our future growth at ezCater. As an analyst for the supply analytics team supporting our catering partners, you will leverage our rich data asset to identify and drive new growth opportunities, all while partnering closely with other Data/Analytics, Catering Partner , and Engineering colleagues.  The ideal candidate will be a strong critical thinker, able to tackle complex analytical challenges, and comfortable working across a broad array of advanced analytics techniques while being a trusted partner to a talented, collaborative peer group.

What You'll Do:

• Proactively generate insights that will lead to enhanced reliability, optimization and revenue generation initiatives for the supply side of the ezCater marketplace
• Partner closely with data engineering, sales operations and FP&A teams to ensure timely and accurate forecasting, measurement and impact of analytics efforts
• Support sales and account engagement activity through account-level insight, expansion opportunity and strategic analytics to support business objectives and key account sales
• Partner with senior leaders across the company to answer complex business problems based on rigorous data analysis
• Be a champion of data and analytics in decision making, acting as a subject matter expert for data, analytics, and testing for your area
• Develop data visualizations, including reports, dashboards, and analyses to democratize data access and insights in a digestible manner while enabling self-service by partners
• Participate in important company planning by providing the forecasting and analysis to help senior leaders prioritize OKRs and Initiatives

What You Have:

• Experience in a relevant field, such as analytics or data science, performing quantitative and technical analysis, ideally with experience in marketplace or e-commerce environments
• Be able to explain complex analysis to stakeholders at all levels of the organization and translate conclusions into straightforward and actionable business terms.
• Strong proficiency in SQL; some experience with modeling tools (R, Python) viewed favorably
• Experience with modern data exploration tools (e.g. Snowflake, Tableau)
• Strong written and verbal communication: able to explain complex analyses, and translate conclusions into straightforward and actionable business terms
• Be able to own and deliver projects/programs both on your own and as a member of a broader team
• Experience conducting quantitative analyses on large and complex data sets
• Experience in 2-sided marketplaces for both B2C and B2B customers is a plus

The national cash compensation range for this role is $51,000 - $101,000* per year
