We’re looking for a data analysis, business intelligence, and analytics engineering leader to join our Data Science Team as a Manager of Data Analysis.

This role is critical in our mission to drive value for our customers through the development and delivery of advanced data analytics solutions across the enterprise.

• Driving our analytic strategies forward as a hands-on Analyst Manager, diving into our most challenging data analysis questions across the business
• Applying a deep expertise in business intelligence, data analysis, and analytics engineering to create and analyze large volumes of data
• Incorporating software development best practices into your team’s workflows, ensuring that analysis being executed is of high quality, performant, and meets customer needs
• Collaborating with data science, engineering, product management, data management, data product, and business partner teams within the organization to highlight opportunities for data analysis to drive project initiatives forward
• Making your team better on a daily basis because you can be clear about goals, the team’s shared purpose, and need to execute through education, organization, and trust

You will thrive in this role if you:

• Have 5+ years of data analysis experience with a high level of proficiency in SQL (complex joins, window functions, etc)  to extract insights from large datasets
• Have 3+ years of experience driving analytical outcomes leveraging business intelligence tools (Tableau, Looker, Mode, etc)
• Have 2+ years of programming experience with open source tools used for statistical analysis (R, Python, etc)
• Have 1+ years of experience serving as a people manager for a small analyst team
• The ability to manage projects across multiple stakeholders and prioritize vigilantly
• A strong appreciation for data management best practices and standards that you have incorporated into your previous work products
• Have a deep appreciation for dimensional data modeling and analytics engineering best practices that enable robust analysis on datasets developed and owned within the Data Analyst team

You will get bonus points for:

• Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) or related field of study
• 3+ years of experience serving as a people manager
• Previous experience leveraging Data Build Tool (dbt) or equivalent tool to develop analytical data products for consumption across the organization
• Previous experience building and maintaining a backlog for your team via incorporation of agile methodologies
• Previous experience working in a Financial Services or Financial Technology company
