THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced, highly organized and collaborative Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance to join our expanding Finance Team at AG1. The key charter for this role will be focused on financial planning, analysis and  data integrity to enable the sustainable, profitable scaling of our fast-growing business. As the Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance, you will play a critical role in supporting finance initiatives. Reporting to the Director, Financial Reporting and Systems, the ideal candidate is a collaborative, result-oriented contributor with financial planning and systems experience, who is passionate about driving reporting, tools and insights to propel the business forward.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Partner with department heads to design and track key performance indicators  across the organization in our financial planning tools, particularly for the Customer Happiness, Technology, Research and Development teams.
  • Lead G&A budgeting, forecasting and reporting for select departments throughout the organization.
  • Support in preparing reporting documents across the organization including Monthly Business Review, Board Meetings and Investor Materials.
  • Support the finance and accounting teams with all monthly close related activities and adjustments to ensure financial reporting integrity.
  • Support in the maintenance of our financial/data systems tools (Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, Tableau), evaluate prospective finance and accounting tools and provide recommendations on ways to automate work and improve team productivity.
  • Partner closely with accounting and the data and analytics teams to ensure financial and operating data integrity and appropriate data structure/flows to allow for insightful financial analysis.
  • Support the reporting and integrity of all intercompany transactions and appropriate flows through the financials statements.
  • Support variance reporting across the organization.
  • Building financial models for ad-hoc projects as needed, particularly for the Customer Happiness, Technology, Research and Development teams.
  • Develop trusted partnerships with key stakeholders across the organization and support the team to deliver on our financial objectives.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in corporate finance and/or accounting in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong financial acumen on all three financial statements and familiarity with GAAP reporting, international and cross currency reporting experience is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze and present financial information to a non-financial audience.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to partner with business leadership to set strategies and establish long-term goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Oracle NetSuite.
  • Experience with Oracle PBCS, Cube, Vena, Adaptive Planning or another financial planning tool is a plus .
  • Knowledge working in PowerBI, Looker, Tableau or another data analytics tool is a plus.
  • Intellectually curious with a drive towards continuous improvement through process enhancement and change.
  • Some experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a remote and evolving work environment.

AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $83,500 - $115,000 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is only one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
