About the Role

Niche is seeking a Go to Market Analyst to support and evolve our go to market analytics, including board reporting, conversion metrics, commission calculations, forecasting, sales dashboarding, and ad-hoc analysis. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the levers that drive sales growth and be comfortable with standard SaaS / subscription metrics. The Go to Market Analyst will be part of Niche’s Revenue Operations team, reporting to the Go to Market Strategy & Analytics Manager, and will help the team model and understand sales team efficiency and effectiveness. We are seeking candidates with strong technical/analytical skills - experts at finding opportunities in data and improving processes - and problem solvers who are comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and projects.

What You Will Do

During the 1st Month:

  • Collaborate with various team members to learn about the company
  • Work with current sales and operations team leaders to begin to understand our customers, products, and our go-to-market strategy
  • Learn how to query relevant data from the Niche platform
  • Get an understanding of the tech stack that our sales and operations teams use
  • Begin to develop knowledge of the core processes that power the sales org

Within 3 Months:

  • You’ll have a deep understanding of our revenue reporting and analysis and begin to take ownership of it
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of reporting systems and KPIs
  • Begin to own sales compensation reporting, Monthly Business Review decks, sales dashboarding, and month end reporting

Within 6 Months:

  • You will have a deep knowledge of our product, company, and go-to-market strategies
  • You will fully own maintenance of revenue reporting & development of new analyses/views
  • Make recommendations for improvements in reporting formats or systems

Within 12 Months:

  • You’ll be be impacting the long-term strategy and growth roadmap for the business
  • Be a key owner to the scaling and automation of reporting processes

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience working in GTM analytics, strategy consulting, and/or business/revenue operations (BizOps, RevOps, etc.) roles for high-growth SaaS or software-enabled services businesses
  • Deep understanding of levers that drive sales growth - SaaS/subscription metrics, sales funnel, customer lifecycle, pricing, compensation
  • Experience being a go-to resource for business leaders and C-Suite in generating easy to consume reporting and insights
  • Strong skill set in utilizing one or many of Excel, BI tools (Tableau, Looker, etc),  Python, and R to perform business analyses and build high level models
  • Eagerness to leverage data to craft narratives that drives executive decision making
  • Willingness to “get your hands dirty” within GTM, think calculating commission checks, performing ad-hoc data analysis, inputting KPIs into monthly decks
  • Comfortable with wearing a lot of hats and navigating ambiguity. Adept at zeroing in on the highest impact work
  • Effective communication of technical concepts and data analysis to different audiences, from sales reps to C-Suite executives
  • Experience with modern sales software (e.g. CPQ, Gong, Outreach, Calendly, etc.)  (Nice to have)
  • Extensive experience using Salesforce to track and analyze sales performance data (Nice to have)

Compensation 

Our national target base salary range is $73,000-$92,000, plus participation in our Annual Bonus and Stock Option Program. Base compensation will be commensurate with experience and skills.
