We believe in providing people with everything they need to do their best work, and are looking for an experienced analyst to build and improve existing recruiting, development and talent programs using insights. With a focus on excellent client service, you’ll work across various sources to transform people data into talent-related insights, experiments and programs.

You’ll be a key member of the People Analytics team helping to maintain our people data warehouse and delivering critical analyses to leaders across Gusto.

The position is full-time and based in either San Francisco or Denver.

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

• Develop thoughtful, self-service dashboards and reports in Tableau
• Deliver statistical analyses with a compelling narrative to drive actionable solutions
• Manage data pipelines to our data warehouse to scale analytics solutions
• Measure external inputs to help us understand our employer brand and to help attract the talent we need to succeed
• Identify and recommend future tools and technologies that elevate our capabilities

Here’s what we're looking for:

• 7+ years of experience in data analysis
• 2+ years of analyst experience within HR, People Analytics, or a related department, focused on people programs
• Strong SQL skills, and comfortable in at least one scripting or statistical programming language (ideally Python and/or R)
• Deep experience building dashboards and automating reports in Tableau
• Excellent communicator - ability to convey technical solutions to non-technical audiences
• Ability to think critically, anticipate issues, and proactively suggest solutions
• Experience applying inferential statistics to people data
• Masters Degree in I/O Psychology a plus

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $104,000 - $140,000 in Denver & most remote locations, and $122,000 - $166,000 for San Francisco & New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
