Payments Partner Analyst


The Payments Partner Analyst [Internally titled Partner Analyst] serves as a key contributor in growing and scaling our BPN (Business Payments Network) solution within our partner ecosystem. The primary focus will be on developing and supporting the strategic relationships with card networks, financial technology providers, and banks to grow usage in the network. The Partner Analyst collaborates with multiple parts of the business, including product, strategy, partner, and sales, and owns the growth and continued health of our partner & their offerings in the market.


What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and analyze partner performance metrics, ensuring partners are achieving their goals and objectives.
  • Own the overall program management of some of the most strategic partners
  • Implement data-driven strategies to optimize partner success, drive revenue growth, and expand market reach.
  • Support periodic reviews and readouts to key partners and stakeholders (i.e. QBR’s).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, sales, to advance business and partner goals.
  • Examine complex data and turn it into actionable insight that can be leveraged for program growth.
  • Take ownership of key workstreams and initiatives to represent Billtrust
  • Assist in troubleshooting partner issues promptly to ensure quick resolution.
  • Identify and implement areas for improvement, automation, and scale.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (i.e. Business Administration, Economics, Math, etc.).
  • Minimum of 3+ years of corporate experience, ideally in SaaS, payments, fintech, or in a partner-management role.
  • Analytically oriented with experience in SQL, Alteryx, or other BI intelligence.
  • Experience in a fast-paced organization with a growth-oriented mindset
  • Strong relationship management skills and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with partner executives, cross-functional teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with business acumen, and a result-driven attitude

The expected base salary range for this position is $82,000.00 - $100,000 annually.
Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses. Further details will be provided by our Talent Acquisition team during the interview process.
