Huntington Bank is looking for a Master Data and Metadata Analyst Sr for the Enterprise Data organization led by the Chief Data and Architecture Officer (CDAO). In this role, you will report to the Enterprise Master Data and Metadata Leader. If you consider data as a strategic asset, evangelize the value of good data and insights, are passionate about developing business requirements for metadata data, and have a deep understanding of implementing metadata and reference data capabilities, this role is for you.
This position will work on a team that is responsible for efficiently building and delivering master data and metadata processes and tools to applicable end users via a tight partnership with technology (data teams and CIOs), the office of the CDAO, business support units, and other key stakeholders.
Metadata / Reference Data Management
- Collaborate with business partners to understand their data strategy to support business needs
- Facilitate business engagements to drive execution of data strategy
- Partner with business data curators (stewards) to identify critical data and processes to implement enterprise business glossary within an agile framework
- Define and execute tactical enhancements based on business needs and overall metadata management strategy
- Use business acumen and functional stakeholder input to understand data needed for process enablement, to locate the needed data, and to translate to the right measures at the right granularity to answer the question being asked with appropriate presentation
- Partner with Data Curators and Trustees to understand business rules behind available data to enable proper interpretation for metrics
- Manage metadata repository containing business terms, critical data elements, and technical metadata
- Support the implementation of metadata and reference data management solution based on business needs
- Create and maintain documentation related to the metadata and reference data repository
- Work with internal groups in resolving data concerns
- Ensure compliance with data and information security policies
- Responsible for maintaining quality and integrity of the metadata and reference data tools
Master Data Management
- Define and document enterprise-wide master data and processes
- Build business requirements for master data
- Develop processes to enable on-going stewardship of data
- Perform and coordinate user acceptance testing
- Support projects to evolve our master data repositories
- Support project teams to identify and source relevant master data
- Lead the cleansing, transformation, conversion, and remediation of data efforts
- Anticipates and analyzes trends in technology while assessing the emerging technology’s impact(s)
- Responsible for maintaining quality and integrity of the master data
- Support identification of master data tools and their implementation
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, military experience in related field
- 5+ years of experience working with data
- 5+ years of experience with administering a metadata management solution (ASG Rochade or other solution technology)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with master data and metadata frameworks

Compensation Range:
100,000 - 115,000
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
