Summary:
The Data Risk Reporting Lead is responsible for enterprise data management-related risk reporting programs including metric monitoring and reporting. This position will also oversee the development and execution of the data risk reporting framework within the CDAO, work with stakeholders to regularly identify supporting data reporting sources to capture and produce key data metrics, produce regular reports to help management evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of data-related enterprise risk in alignment with regulatory and audit expectations, as well as deliver timely escalation of all issues requiring attention to leadership. Also, the Lead will work with business segment management to address metrics breaching thresholds and act as the central point for the distribution of important data risk metrics for business segments and the CDAO.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mine and cleanse data from multiple sources and analyze results to help identify trends and risks.
- Evaluate effectiveness of enterprise data management reporting and escalate as appropriate.
- Direct self-monitoring activities to ensure that they are performed in accordance with risk management requirements.
- Deliver timely escalation of all issues requiring attention to senior management.
- Work with business segment management to ensure that the overall reporting function is effectively supporting strategic goals.
- Collaborate with business segments, and corporate risk to help address reporting issues with plausible actions and target dates.
- Act as the central point for receipt and distribution of important data risk information for the business segment and reciprocate the flow of information back to corporate risk management
- Ensure business segments adhere to CDAO policies and procedures.
- Managerial responsibility, as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7 years of experience in audit, compliance, risk management, operational risk, data management, data governance, or related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Related experience developing data and/or risk-related reporting and analytics and working with IT and/or business segments
- Advanced knowledge of data and risk management principles and regulatory compliance requirements
- Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications and the ability to communicate and present requirements and issues clearly and concisely
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong partnerships and work collaboratively with all businesses
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Prior experience with Tableau
- Ability to understand detailed impact while keeping the eye on the big picture
- Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
