We’re looking for a Vice President of Global Data Engineering who will help lead us through our next phase of growth. We’ve built our brand and our position in the market on the back of delivering incredible results for our clients. As a result, we have contracts with some of the largest and most well-known companies in the world. We are looking for a leader who can help us achieve the next level of scale. This includes increasing larger and more strategic customer project portfolios (>$10M), a larger delivery organization, and developing the next set of leaders. We’re looking for a leader who can help us achieve this scale while also staying authentic to our engineering and positive culture.

Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years in a global delivery leadership role for professional services or consulting organizations.
  • Proven experience leading (500+) global delivery teams, talent development, training programs, compensation plans, and a delivery excellence culture in a high-growth environment.
  • Accountable for the data engineering hiring forecast based on revenue targets to ensure we resource projects in a timely manner.
  • Own data engineering utilization, gross margin, and other key global delivery metrics.
  • Responsible for building a global team of high performers through hiring top talent, performance management, promotions, performance reviews, goal setting, and developing career paths within the Data Engineering practice.  
  • Experience developing and successfully executing key team objectives and results that align with company goals.

Preferred

  • High-level knowledge of data science, machine learning, and/or data engineering.
  • BA/BS in computer science, engineering, business, operations, or related field. 

The Ideal Candidate will: 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the internal sales organization to drive overall customer success.
  • Be accountable for customer escalations and own the overall resolution working closely with both delivery and sales.
  • Demonstrate strong feedback skills and have the willingness to have difficult and uncomfortable conversations while providing clarity, empathy, and overall resolution.  
  • Actively participate in our Global Practice Lead Meetings. 
  • Be able to think outside the box to exceed established goals. 
  • Exhibit strong organizational, time management, presentation, and leadership skills. 
  • Effectively prioritize objectives and implement strategies to achieve company initiatives.
  • Identify and develop key reports, data, and processes that are meaningful and impactful to decision-making.
  • Understand and thrive when compensation is heavily tied to company and department performance.
  • Lead with best practices and proven methodologies for process improvement, scalability, and automation to support long-term growth objectives.
  • Have experience working at a services company.
