Primary Responsibilities:
- Build the future of data warehousing on the Azure Cloud/Snowflake
- Work closely with the client to build/expand our data warehouse solutions
- Serve as a key subject matter resource on complex and/or critical issues and business solutions
- Review work performed by others to deliver quality; provide recommendations for improvement
- Forecast and plan resource requirements
- Authorize deviations from standards; approve project delivery to production and securing approvals from the customer
- May lead functional or segment teams or projects
- Provide explanations and information to others on complex issues
- Lead, motivate, and inspire other team members
- Manage customer relationships and anticipate customer needs to proactively develop solutions
- Develop and negotiate win/win solutions to project issues
- Work with end users/customers to understand and develop requirements
- Organize and lead project related meetings with customers, development staff, and sponsor/executive level staff
- Develop/maintain formal Project Schedule
- Deliver Project Status Reporting, Project Quality Management, and other PMI PMBOK knowledge areas and performance domains
- Lead Project Resource/Staffing Management
- Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with programmers, analysts, immediate supervisor, management, system users, operations, other State agencies and the private sector
- Meet with users for clarification and elaboration as necessary to clearly define a problem and conceptualize a development plan
- Recognize, gather, correlate, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and devise solutions and alternatives; and make appropriate recommendations
- Support project quality, people experience, revenue, business growth, innovation/knowledge management, customer NPS goals/MBOs (Management by Business Objectives)

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with managing complex application development projects, in healthcare domain
- 5+ years of experience managing projects with five (5) or more resources
- 5+ years of data warehousing experience and business intelligence (BI) reporting/data analytics project management experience
- 3+ years of experience managing customer relationships
- 2+ years of professional experience with Cloud (Azure/Snowflake), Tableau and PowerBI, or equivalent tool
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agile/Scrum experience/certification
- PMI PMP certified
- CBIP certification
- 3+ years of experience managing a contract for a program value $5+ million in revenue.
- 3+ years of formal personnel management experience of both direct reports and matrixed resources
- Federal Reporting Experience (T-MSIS, MARS, PERM, and Quality of Care Core measures)
- State Medicaid Data Warehouse or Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) knowledge/experience
- Teradata experience
- Informatica experience
- Business Objects experience
- SAS experience
- Experience with Microsoft Project and MS project online
- Extensive experience with project and contract level change management
- Extensive experience with Project risks/issues management
- Extensive experience with project development methodology and project management methodology and able to apply methodology in a practical manner
- Knowledge of latest developments, trends, and opportunities/threats in the healthcare, technology, government, Medicaid, Federal CMS, and security landscape
- Solid understanding of Medicaid Program including program management, program integrity, and Federal reporting (i.e., CMS 64)
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Continuous learning and improvement practice
- Reside in Springfield, IL or within drivable distance

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
