DUTIES: Solve recommendations, ranking, user condition predictions, and search problems. Build end-to-end solutions to meet product needs. Apply advanced statistical and predictive modeling techniques to data related to the optimization of healthcare and digital experiences. Propose innovative ways to look at problems using data mining, statistical analysis and machine learning. Communicate findings, verbally and visually, to business partners and clients. Seek out new data sources and verify integrity of data that fill gaps and improve models. Support business needs around analytics, predictive modeling and business intelligence. Collaborate effectively with internal clients, transforming their needs into data science use cases. Provide on-going tracking and monitoring of performance of statistical models and recommend ongoing improvements to methods and algorithms. Develop models related to recommender system, NLP and search engines (e.g. name entity recognition, intent classification, spell correction, auto-completion), cold-start recommendation, semi-supervised learning (e.g. positive unlabeled learning). Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning – AI or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Scientist/ Data analyst-related occupation. Position requires 2 years of experience in the following: Tensorflow; PyTorch; Deep Neural Networks such as RNN, or CNN; Natural Language Processing; Large-scale data mining; healthcare analytics; Language models such as BERT or Clinical BERT

RATE OF PAY:   $160,000/year
