Primary Responsibilities:
- The EDW Implementation Project Manager will lead a large-scale design, development, and implementation project using industry standard project management best practices. These project management best practices include management of integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, communication, risk, procurement, and stakeholder. In this critical role the selected candidate will work closely with the client to build/expand data warehouse and reporting solutions for Optum. Serves as a key resource on complex business and technical issues facilitating and guiding for a resolution to meet/exceed customer expectations. Sets the example for communication with outstanding written and verbal communication. Manage cross-functional interdependencies between the customer, project teams, product team, and leadership

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full stack data warehousing experience, including database (SQL), data modeling, extract transform load (ETL), business intelligence (BI) reporting, and a working understanding of security concepts (e.g., NIST, MARS-E, SSO, B2B, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience leading complex technical application or data warehouse development projects
- 3+ years of experience managing projects with 10 or more resources
- 3+ years of experience managing a contract for a program valued at $5 million in revenue (or more)
- 3+ years of client-facing experience managing customer relationships
- 2+ years of experience with Medicaid, Medicare, or Healthcare (provider/payor) delivery
- Experience with cloud project implementation such as (Snowflake, Azure, Databricks, ADF, PowerBI)
- Ability to travel to Springfield, IL during implementation as required by client
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- State Medicaid data warehouse and/or Medicaid Enterprise System (formerly MMIS) experience
- Specific technical experience with the project technologies (Azure Services, Snowflake, Teradata, Quest Erwin, Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Databricks, Symmetry (groupers), Power BI, SAP BusinessObjects, Python, SAS)
- Agile/Scrum project experience
- Background with JIRA, DevOps, Teams and SharePoint
- Solid understanding of Medicaid reporting applications such as program integrity (e.g., FADS, SURS, etc.) and federal reporting (e.g., T-MSIS, CMS 64, etc.)
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office 360 Tools (Word, Excel, Project, Visio, Teams, PowerPoint)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
