We are looking for an experienced Sr. Data Analyst to join our small but mighty (and growing!) Risk & Analytics team. Our team's mission is to empower all the internal business units, providing visibility into data and delivering actionable business insights. Risk & Analytics is responsible for the entire data model and infrastructure, with touch points across the entire organization. As a Sr. Data Analyst, you'll be closely working with multiple entities across the organization, owning the analytics deliverables end to end - understanding business requirements, allocating resources, pushing for prioritization, performing thorough analysis and delivering actionable insights in a concise and coherent manner. Please note, this position is East Coast remote friendly only at this time.

What you'll do

• Analyze internal and external data sources to reach actionable recommendations for business decisions.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards and metrics, in addition to monitoring the integrity and validity of the data reported.
• Monitor business KPIs and product metrics, and alert about changes.
• Work with large amounts of data and build tools to streamline processes.
• Look beyond the numbers and help inform, influence, support and execute our business decisions.
• Conduct customer analysis–churn, behavior, segmentation, trends, customer value and more.
• Work as part of a company-wide department that supports Product Managers, Marketing, Risk, Finance & Management.

Who you are

• Experienced in quantitative Data Analysis, preferably for SaaS-based company
• FinTech experience a plus
• SQL proficiency required
• Experience working with BI reporting tools (Preferably Looker) required
• Python proficiency strongly preferred
• Experience working with Big Data and data warehousing (preferably Google BigQuery) strongly preferred
• Passion for data; not afraid to get your hands dirty in technical and business aspects
• Internal customer facing experience and high attention to detail
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Eager problem-solve and look beyond the numbers
