THE ROLE: 

We’re looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who can help us scale out our client facing analytics products and help integrate our backend data services into the core application.  We’re looking for someone who is comfortable with Python and Javascript and has experience building data driven products with small teams. You'll contribute front end code to our core product to help us quickly integrate our data into product experiences as well as build out telemetry to power our analytics decision making and machine learning models.

Within one month, you'll

• Have spun up our environments locally
• Have built a new data API resource, complete with unit testing and monitoring
• Have published live code on production in both the analytics and core web code bases

Within three months, you'll

• Own a new core function in our admin tool, including the data model, API and front end
• Have built out robust testing and monitoring for the front end infrastructure of our analytics product
• Help to steer the architecture decisions and direction of the data team

Within six months, you'll

• Be contributing to weekly production builds of the analytics tool and the core site 
• Be the point person on telemetry in the web and mobile applications

Within a year, you'll

• Be considered a technical leader at the company and the liaison between the data and engineering teams
• Have technical direction over an analytics product bringing in substantial revenue

THE REQUIRED SKILL SET: 

• 4-6 years of experience in full stack software engineering
• Experience with Python and Javascript
• Experience with SQL
• Experience building and maintaining APIs and front-end applications

THE NICE TO HAVES: 

• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
• Experience with DynamoDB, Lambda or Elastic Beanstalk
• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.)
• Experience with Airflow
• Experience with dbt

THE SALARY, BENEFITS & PERKS:

The range for this position is $140,000 - $175,000 yearly salary, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.
