What will you do at Nomad?

As a senior member of the Data Science team, you will be responsible for:

• Owning and delivering high-impact machine learning projects end-to-end; from data transformation and model training to productionization and monitoring.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Product Managers and other stakeholders across the organization to discover machine learning opportunities that have a good balance between impact, level-of-effort, and feasibility.
• Regularly presenting findings of exploratory analysis and sandbox machine learning models to upper management to continuously push the boundaries of what’s possible with data at Nomad.
• Mentoring junior members of the Data Science team to level-up their programming and machine learning skills and make the team more effective and impactful. 

Who Are You? 

• 4+ years experience delivering high-impact machine learning models in a production environment using Python.
• Demonstrated excellence in building, scaling, and productizing machine learning models with best MLOps practices in mind.
• Outstanding analytical skills, and ability to think about and solve problems creatively.
• Excited to be one of the first Senior individual contributors on the Data Science team and to help drive the team to excellence.
• Passion for mentorship and helping your fellow teammates grow.
• Outstanding verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical collaborators.
• Experience with GCP is a plus.
