Job Summary:
The Data Science team at Cart.com is a centralized team that reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for all things data, analytics, and ML/AI of Cart.com. The Data Science department consists of four separate departments. Our team consists of Cloud Architects, Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and Data Viz specialists.
This role sits in the Data Science Solutions department while working cross-functionally with the Marketing as a Service team. Our Data Scientist will be providing service-based data science solutions to our brands and will be integral in turning service-based offerings into product-based solutions with our software & machine learning engineers by your side.
Prior experience with exposure to acquiring users in Direct to Consumer Brands cross-consumer products is a plus. This role will include projects ranging from: (Propensity models, Customer Profiling & Segmentation, Recommendation engine, Clustering, MMM, Incrementally, MTA, A/B Testing and Design, ad hoc advanced analysis, etc.)
Cart's vision and mission are to disrupt longstanding players in the value chain of e-commerce by designing a distributed network of capabilities that are 10x cheaper, 10x more convenient, and 10x better. This Data Scientist is integral to this mission.
