Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

Job Duties: Augment talented data science teams, build cutting-edge models, and make impactful recommendations in a fast and dynamically changing environment. Build deployable models to generate valuable insights. Strategic assessment of existing infrastructure and business processes. Designing and developing the analytical layer (data warehouse, data lake, ETL, ELT, etc.). Enabling business analysts by understanding their processes and attentively listening to their needs to deliver impactful solutions. Supporting data scientists and deploying machine learning models into production. Note: You will not be developing machine learning models or algorithms. Optimizing non-performant databases, queries, pipelines, and ML models. Use Python, R, SQL, Alteryx, Dataiku, Tableau and PowerBI depending upon the specific needs of our clients. Work with cloud architecture such as AWS and Azure as well as client databases such as Snowflake, etc. Research, define, build, and implement ML algorithms such as XGBoost, neural networks, linear regressions, time-series specific models for predictive and prescriptive analytics use cases. Generate content and deliver trainings internally and externally to clients on Data Science best practices, MLOps best practices, and Natural Language Processing best practices. Work with data and transform it to pull out valuable business insights.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in STEM related major plus 60 months of progressive experience in a STEM occupation. Experience must include experience with classification and regression techniques; time series analysis and optimization; ability and desire to lead projects from early scoping stages through deployment; ability to successfully manage client and business relationships, project timelines, and mentor junior data scientists; advanced experience in Python, R, MATLAB, Spark/PySpark, SQL, and/or other related programming languages; and comfort using tensorflow/pytorch and learning networks in general. Remote position - ability to work anywhere in the U.S.

Rate of Pay: $118, 000 to $130,000 per year
