Overview

This cross-functional Product Manager hire is responsible for developing and driving personalization strategy to power our merchants with the tools they need in order to capitalize on the in moment opportunities to maximize their revenue from their customers.

This role requires you to be strategic and technical minded to design and help implement an infrastructure from the ground up as well as interface with business functions to productize personalization. If you are excited about using cutting-edge machine learning and data science technologies to operationalize Recharge’s data lake via building personalization tools, this role is for you!

What you'll do

  • Identifying new opportunities for building personalization and automation tools (i.e. product recommendations, churn prevention).
  • Develop detailed user stories and requirements that can be used to create product specification and architecture for the personalization system.
  • Lead cross functional partners such as data science, engineering, design, and UX, product feature teams to deliver personalization features from from inception to launch. 
  • Define and analyze relevant metrics to measure performance and use of this data to drive product decisions.
  • Communicate your product vision and strategy to gain agreement from key partners and senior leadership.

What You'll Bring

  • Typically, 5+ years’ experience in personalization, machine learning, or recommendations systems
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations to drive actions
  • Strong understanding of predictive modeling and AI
  • Strong understanding of HTML with the ability to code or communicate outward to development team
  • Understanding of the full subscription commerce ecosystem to inform the who, what, when and how our personalization engine can power our customers marketing and in the moment communication. 
  • Collaborate with Content Manager and A/B Testing to identify opportunities where personalization can impact consumer experiences
  • Create and manage A/B testing work stream 
  • Work with key cross functional partners to understand business strategies and priorities
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity; exceptional interpersonal skills; thrives in highly collaborative environment
  • Ability to work cross-functionally communicating with teams
  • Self-starter with demonstrated experience developing diverse teams and positive working relationships
  • Basic comfort level with data science concepts and modeling
  • Work to translate analytics and insights into action
  • A strong passion for transformative user experiences
  • Intermediate SQL skills

  • Experience working in personalization and analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Monetate, Certona, Content Square
