We are looking for a talented Senior Data Product Manager to join the Togo Group team!

Togo Group is seeking an experienced Senior Data Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is technical, data curious, detail-oriented, great at communication, loves solving problems, and has familiarity with the data ecosystem, including data warehousing solutions, data processing pipelines and analytics platforms.

As a Senior Data Product Manager supporting the data platform, you’ll be responsible for facilitating key stakeholder and engineering-related engagements to optimize the reach and impact of data product implementations at Togo Group and THOR Industries. This role will be expected to take on high-visibility projects that influence how new data-related feature requests are shaped in our product backlog and defined in accordance with key initiatives or evolving needs of the business.

Where You're Located:

Candidates for this role will be based in the United States and can work remotely or in our Chicago or Cincinnati offices.

Your Impact:

  • Contribute to owning the development, maintenance, and delivery of our Data Platform, empowering the organization to effectively use data to drive strategy and decisions. 
  • Champion a data-driven and customer-focused culture, advocate for democratizing data and establish the value of data governance and managing data as an asset.
  • Be a subject matter expert for data, analytics, and visualization within the Togo and broader THOR organization, answering incoming questions and ensuring accurate and proper interpretation of core business metrics, data models, and reports.
  • Partner with data customers and internal stakeholders to define new reporting and analytical requirements, building out the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products and capabilities.
  • Own the product roadmap, breaking down high level projects into targeted deliverables, ruthlessly prioritize to drive the long-term vision, and oversee the sprint planning, development, and delivery of high-quality data products.
  • Ensure new product or data initiatives are in compliance with security and privacy policies and/or laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Develop materials, including product documentation, presentations, videos and/or articles to ensure optimal knowledge and usage of data products.
  • Champion the Togo Group culture, leading by example and delivering through the lens of our “Rules of the Road”.

What You’ve Done Before:

  • 5+ years experience building and delivering successful data products, services and/or capabilities in a Product, Data or Engineering role.
  • Self-starter that thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with a demonstrated capacity to lead, motivate and work well with others
  • Experience defining product roadmaps, and gathering, translating and prioritizing internal or external stakeholder requirements
  • Excellent organization, communication and presentation skills, with ability to bring clarity to complexity and communicate customer needs, architectural requirements, and product goals across cross-functional teams
  • Deep data fluency, with an understanding of the complexities of data normalization, standardization, and redundancy management
  • Familiarity with SQL or similar database query language
  • Experience developing easy-to-understand metrics and/or dashboards/visualizations (Looker, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience architecting data warehouses or relational databases (Preferred) 
  • Experience with ELT platforms and/or Snowflake, dbt, or Looker (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with programming languages (R, Python, etc.) (Preferred)
  • Experience in leading organizational adoption of new products (Preferred)
