We are looking for a Senior Data Integration Engineer with 3-5 years of experience building flexible and scalable integration solutions across applications and platforms.  The candidate will be joining our growing Data & Analytics team and will be responsible for leading the technical integration with Netsuite (ERP) and related projects as we prepare for an IPO. These efforts include: requirements definition, design of the integration framework, data reviews and deep dives, data prep and cleansing, building the ingestion pipelines and validating together with our business partners that the data is correct.

As an expert in this field, you will also use your skills to partner with other project stakeholders to manage the project timelines, mentor junior team members, organize and estimate the work and be the primary developer responsible for building the solution. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership in a role that allows you to not only use, but also expand your skills across a modern data stack that includes AWS, dbt, FiveTran and Snowflake as core systems in our Data ecosystem.  

Key Challenges

• Data-driven Culture: you will be an ambassador for our data-driven culture, taking data and using it to ensure that our financial metrics are correct and validated to support our path to IPO.
• Data Management: you will access, clean and organize raw, or processed, data in a way that makes sense for both you and the team
• Leadership: you have the ability to own a solution and lead projects end to end, including leading junior analysts, developers and our business partners through requirements, designs, mock-up, development and test scenarios to fully deliver an outcome.
• Iterative Development: experience working with modern, cloud based data & analytics tools ranging from integration tools, data pipelines and data platforms and warehouses.
• Write robust, clean and effective code for simple or complex user stories.
• Scripting, optimized database queries, data architecture, data design, modeling and mapping.
• Work as part of a team to deliver product features and functionalities for multiple internal business lines, domains and stakeholders.
• Build, orchestrate, and deploy complex integration patterns using best practice approaches to connectivity while ensuring the quality and stability of delivered solutions through detailed analysis, design, testing and documentation.

About You

• 3-5 years of experience in a Senior Data or Application Integration role integrating data with COTS Financial ERP applications such as Netsuite, Oracle, SAP, JDEdwards or Dynamics 365.
• Netsuite Financial ERP experience with knowledge of SuiteTalk preferred.
• Have the ability to work independently with your business partners to deliver an outcome, or lead a project and team of talented engineers and analysts to design and build a solution.
• Experience with and would like to expand your integration experience to include data pipelines, ETL/ELT and cloud data platforms and warehouses.
• You are nimble and have a passion for continuous learning.
• You are a self-starter who takes initiatives to make impactful decisions in your role.
• You are an influencer and thought leader with in-depth technical expertise, credibility, and field experience to establish yourself as a subject-matter expert in a fast moving start-up that is leading the industry.
