Overview

As Product Manager for our Analytics team, you'll be responsible for making product decisions and executing on delivering a world-class e-commerce analytics product. You'll work closely with customers and our analytics team to help our store owners gain valuable and actionable insights on their business through the self-serve reporting suite. You will help evolve the suite to cater to our diverse merchant base and use cases that Recharge supports. You will drive, and define the product strategy, goals and requirements for our data and visualization platform working with cross-functional teams to execute and deliver on Recharge's data services. 

You are an ideal candidate if you have experience with building customer-facing analytics products. You are design-conscious and experienced in building a robust insights-driven analytics suite. You will also be involved in building pipelines to serve up insights in our integration partners and internal recharge tools to guide and inform how store owners act on the data. You are also able to think critically about data and tell a compelling and truthful story on how store owners can maximize their revenue on our platform. 

As a Product Manager for customer-facing analytics, you would have the opportunity to own and mature a product. You will get to work with a brilliant team of engineers, designers, and analytics professionals to build a successful product that drives everyday decisions of our store owners. 

What you'll do

  • Own the roadmap and development of Recharge e-commerce data product
  • Build new tools and reports to showcase the value merchants get and inform future revenue growths strategies 
  • Conduct user research to inform UX and design decisions
  • Measure effectiveness of product efforts via quantitative and qualitative proxies.
  • Own and operate the product roadmap relating to our data visualization and reporting system
  • Conducts bespoke analysis for key merchants as needed, while automating and improving processes to meet the majority of merchants requests
  • Create novel ways to leverage our investment in data and tools to build data products that merchants can use to grow revenue

What you'll bring

  • Ground-level understanding of the raw events and transactions that need to be collected, stored and served for analytics use
  • 4+ years of product management experience in fast-paced environments 
  • 3+ years of analytics experience; building and designing analytics products 
  • Experiencing with ingestion and maintenance of 3rd party data to enrich our existing sources
  • Experience with Snowflake, Fivetran, Redshift, BigQuery, Hadoop, Kafka a plus
  • Experience in designing browser-based dashboards or similar
  • Experience with user stories, sprints, and agile development methodologies
  • Proficiency in common prototyping tools such as balsamiq, sketch, indesign 
  • Developing and shipping new UI for complex systems
  • Basic SQL skills
