In 2014, Arcadia set out on its mission to break the fossil fuel monopoly and since then we have been knocking down the institutional barriers to unlock decarbonization. To date, we have connected hundreds of thousands of consumers and small businesses with high-quality clean energy options. Fast forward to today, and now, we’re thinking even bigger. We have launched Arc, an industry-defining SaaS platform that empowers developers and energy innovators to deliver their own custom, personalized energy experiences, accelerating the transformation of the industry from an analog energy system into a digitized information network.

What we’re looking for:
- Someone who has a proven track record of using sophisticated analytics and data science techniques to solve complex business problems and advance a rapidly growing business
- Takes initiative to find solutions to problems that aren’t fully laid out or specified
- Thrives in situations where the operating protocols are being developed along the way
- Uses data to provide grounded recommendations and sees initiatives through to implementation
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with cross-functional business partners
What you'll do:
- Provide strategic analysis and insights to drive the growth of the Community Solar business by deeply understanding and improving customer acquisition performance across teams and channels
- Inform C-suite strategic decisions around which acquisition channels to deploy in specific markets to acquire targeted customer segments
- Use advanced analytical techniques to understand and forecast customer growth
- Estimate the potential impact of software improvements to the customer sign-up process and evaluate their success
- Work across the organization using analytical principles and structured thinking to:
- Partner with Sales teams to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the top performing channels
- Partner with Marketing to design experiments and evaluate campaigns aimed at driving customer growth at lower costs
- Partner with Finance to quantify the impact of acquisition improvements on key corporate metrics
What will help you succeed:
Must-haves:
- 5-7+ years work experience as an analyst in a business setting
- Defining the problem: Ability to apply structured problem decomposition to identify root causes to complex problems, typically in undefined and evolving situations
- Data acquisition: Strong background in data structures and familiarity with variety of tools, languages, and techniques to bring the right data to bear to solve business problems
- Analytical Techniques: Deep understanding of statistical techniques and a demonstrated ability to apply the right approach to the right circumstance
- Synthesizing data: Experience with languages and tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Tableau that enable rich analysis
- Narrative Storytelling: Proven capability to tell compelling, insightful stories based on data & analysis that drive decision making, demonstrated experience briefing senior leaders on outcomes & recommendations, and an interest in teaching others
- Infrastructure Mindset: Drive to build analyses and frameworks that are repeatable, scalable, and reliable, allowing analytics work to be shared easily and widely across many parts of an organization.
