About the Team
You will be part of a team whose focus is to solve cutting edge AI problems and deploying models that constantly advance the state-of-the-art. You will be working across various areas of natural language processing, natural language understanding, natural language generation, conversational AI, and other interesting challenges at Zoom's scale.
About The Role
- Carry out research on the latest ML algorithms, methodologies, and technologies
- Build ML models to infuse intelligence into various Zoom products
- Develop metrics to enable measurement and improve performance
- Participate in production integration and result evaluation
- Collaborate with team members on large-scale projects
- Work with various teams across regions and time zones
About You
- Master’s degree and 3+ years experience or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related degree
- Experience with one or more of the following: natural language processing, natural language understanding, natural language generation, conversational AI, and multimodal AI modeling
- Experience with deep learning modeling
- Experience in machine learning toolkits (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit, etc.)
- Proven mathematical knowledge and understanding of machine learning and statistics
- Proven research skills, e.g., publications in top-tier conferences
- Strong coding skills in Python
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with large-scale data processing and distributed systems
- Experience framework such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, etc.
- Experience in distributed training and performance optimization on GPU’s
- Expertise in crafting data models for high performance and scalability
- Autoscaling, containers, performance tuning and optimization
Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$98,500.00
Maximum:
$197,000.00
In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
