Position: Recommendation Algorithm Lead Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled individual who can craft web services to enhance user experiences. The chosen candidate will be primarily responsible for creating a cutting-edge web service that curates and personalizes which room will be showcased on the homepage of Chaturbate based on user behavior and preferences.

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and deploy a web service to personalize user homepage experiences.
• Utilize principles of behavioral economics to understand and predict user behavior on the platform.
• Implement and refine machine learning models to continuously improve personalization algorithms.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to gain insights and refine strategies.
• Optionally manage a team of programmers, ensuring timely and quality delivery of projects.
• Regularly review and iterate on the platform based on user feedback and analytics.

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Behavioral Economics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in programming, especially in building web services.
• Deep knowledge and experience with machine learning and its application in web personalization.
• Strong understanding of behavioral economics and its application in digital platforms.
• Ability to work independently, but also possesses leadership qualities to manage a team if needed.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.

The Base Salary range for this position is $120,000 to $200,000 USD. This range reflects base salary only and does not include additional compensation or benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum range for a new hire across the US for the posted position. A candidate's specific pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the candidate's job-related skills, relevant education, training, experience, certifications, and abilities of the candidate, as well as other factors unique to each candidate.
