Position Summary:
Join us as the first marketing analytics leadership hire. You’ll help us shape a world-class marketing analytics function and this role will play a critical role in how we use analytics to inform our business & marketing priorities, drive data-backed campaigns, deliver value across the consumer lifecycle and measure performance for future optimizations. You will work closely with our marketing (i.e. brand, growth, product marketing, LCM) product, and engineering teams to establish end-to-end funnel measurement & reporting, rigorous testing methodologies, and deployment of critical analytics tools.

What You'll Do:
- Be a thought leader and drive the vision for marketing data, analytics, and technology for the organization
- Own day-to-day performance analysis & strategic recommendations across the marketing funnel that inform marketing priorities across target audiences & product offerings
- Architect the data solutions to advise, enable and optimize Earnin’s paid, earned, and owned marketing channels
- Monitor & proactively surface/troubleshoot any problems across the marketing funnel & provide data-backed recommendations that help solve
- Evolve our martech stack selecting vendors and working with eng & product partners to implement new solutions & technologies
- Partner with internal teams & external agencies to build / iterate on robust performance dashboards (for both executive and working team audiences) that track & visualize performance and empower conversations on improvement opportunities
- Define and form a marketing data governance structure. Ensure we document our data solutions and outline our processes
- Be the marketing team expert in experimental design, including A/B testing, incrementality measurement, and attribution, and ensure we have the process and tools in place to effectively implement these
- Partner with marketing leads to develop testing frameworks for new & existing channels and campaigns
What We're Looking For:
- Degree in an analytical discipline (e.g. engineering, computer science, analytics, BI, operations, data science, consulting) or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience working on campaign targeting, experiment setup, optimizations, and attribution
- 7+ years of experience working with data, including working with standard data processing tools/concepts (e.g. SQL, ETL), analytics, validations and data integrations
- Must have experience developing and partnering with finance teams and C-level executives on inputs to LTV and ROAS models
- Experience building and managing MMM & MTA or like models and migrating companies from performance driven to full funnel marketing
- Ability to manipulate & extract insights from large data sets & seamlessly translate into actionable recommendations across the consumer journey
- Deep understanding of performance & measurement across key digital channels – e.g. App, Search, Web, SEO, Television, Email, Push, SMS
- Understanding of marketing technology landscape, including MarTech, AdTech, WebTech, journey mapping, AI and marketing attribution
- Technical capability to work with data engineers and machine learning engineers to guide the implementation of solutions
- Experience working with propriety and 3rd party data sets to drive insights and customer segmentation
- Self-starter who likes to get things done and is equally comfortable flexing between operating at the strategic level and influencing executive leaders and working in the details to troubleshooting issues
- Able to quickly form deep cross-functional relationships with both internal teams and external agency partners
- Experience managing complex cross-functional projects from concept to execution, with a strong track record of collaboration & influence across all levels of the organization
- Proficient in requirements definition, authoring epics, user stories and acceptance criteria within the Agile/Scrum methodology
- B2C experience a must, mobile experience strongly preferred, fintech experience a plus.
