Cherre invites a seasoned L4 Data Scientist II / Data Lead with a track record of success in commercial real estate (CRE) analytics to play a pivotal role in our client-facing operations. Your adeptness in blending technical data science capabilities with sharp business acumen will be central to translating complex datasets into decisive CRE insights. As a leader within our team, you will navigate the full spectrum of data challenges, mentor burgeoning talent, and embody the strategic finesse that Cherre is known for in the CRE industry.

Core Responsibilities

    • Organize and deploy data science projects, ensuring they align with CRE clients' goals and Cherre's strategic imperatives
    • Initiate and conduct cutting-edge research, transitioning sophisticated data patterns into CRE market solutions with tangible client benefits
    • Nurture the growth of L3 Data Scientists, creating a hub of learning and leadership that primes Cherre for continued innovation
    • Influence Cherre's data strategy, adding your voice to the strategic narrative that shapes our analytics offerings
    • Bridge cross-departmental collaboration, crafting a shared vision that empowers a unified approach to CRE data challenges
    • Foster and expand our CRE client partnerships through targeted workshops and strategy sessions, solidifying trust and enabling informed decision-making

Professional Expectations

    • Domain authority in the CRE space, capable of leading sophisticated research and model development from start to completion
    • Operate within Agile frameworks, adding to and refining project backlogs, with an eye towards enhancing our analytics operations
    • Represent Cherre in strategic client discussions, delivering complex solutions with clarity and confidence
    • Independently drive robust analysis and model creation, ensuring Cherre's CRE data solutions are second to none.

Must Have

    • A Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a comparable field
    • A minimum of 4 years of experience bringing live models into production, particularly within the CRE sector
    • Profound proficiency in Python, SQL, and EDA, coupled with experience in a BigQuery environment
    • Solid background in real estate or economics, with a focus on analytics and strategic decision-making within CRE
    • Proven experience in conducting detailed analysis, employing design thinking, and crafting user-centric data models

Preferred Qualifications

    • Demonstrated experience in leading analytical teams within an Agile setup
    • Experience with BigQuery and other Google Cloud Platform tools, leveraging their full potential in a data-rich CRE context
