We are looking for a highly collaborative, high-energy, execution-focused Product Manager that wants to find and solve real user problems with data science and software. This is an exciting opportunity to drive product strategy, roadmap planning, and the execution of the Corvus data science & software experiences for commercial insurance brokers, policyholders and underwriters. The ideal candidate is someone with a history of executing both strategically and tactically.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an active and instrumental member of the Product and Data Science Teams
• Synthesize product vision, customer feedback, engineering, and data science capabilities to define a shared vision, roadmap
• Prioritize, plan initiatives to create massive value through data science and subsequent integration of that work into our software experiences
• Collaborate with the data science team to create and validate solutions to customer needs
• Gather customer needs and feedback through frequent research and testing
• Perform analysis to inform, measure and iterate on product development
• Use both quantitative and qualitative data as evidence to support your recommendations
• Lead both the sourcing and acquiring of new data sets to enable novel data science work

Qualifications

• 2+ years software product management experience using agile methodologies
• You have basic knowledge of, and a deep interest in learning Data Science and Machine Learning fundamentals
• Bias for action, proactive, entrepreneurial mindset
• Experience with B2B software (B2B2B a plus)
• Experience working with product roadmaps, prioritization, sprints, stand-ups
• Experience gathering actionable customer feedback
• Experience being the mediator of stakeholders
• Experience with statistical methods and machine learning
• Experience coordinating among product, engineering and data science teams
• Experience using both qualitative and quantitative data as evidence to support your recommendations
• Experience creating documentation
• Experience with Looker a plus
• Experience from a scaling startup is a plus
