Position: Data Product Manager

Location: Remote within United States

About the team: As part of the IT group, we are responsible for executing our enterprise data strategy which emphasizes data management maturity, fosters a robust data culture, and architects a best-in-class enterprise data platform.  We have the ultimate goal to provide trusted data and insights at scale which enable corporate and functional data-driven decision making. We are fueled by organic innovation, internal collaboration and adoption of data visualization, data management, reporting automation, AI/ML and integration tools. We leverage best practices and alignment through our Enterprise Data Community to deliver speed to insight, scale, control and enablement. The team is distributed across the United States and India and is composed of data engineers, data analysts, visualization developers, and infrastructure specialists. 

Must-Have Experience:

  • Data Modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical including Dimensional Data Modeling)
  • Deep understanding of Sales, Marketing and SAAS Product areas/processes
  • UI/UX Experience (Dashboard Designing) and Story-telling
  • Experience with Salesforce data, Snowflake and industry-standard Marketing automation platforms required

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and drive complete analytics, BI and data platform implementation for the enterprise
  • Collaborate on the vision, roadmap, and capabilities for internal data products (in snowflake, salesforce, Tableau) to ensure availability of high-quality data 
  • Elevate user-experience and for internal analytics products and enable self-service through our analytics platforms and automation
  • Extensively focus on scaling our internal data products to be more accessible, trustworthy, and easy-to-consume for all internal use-cases
  • Convert enhancement/emergency requests into a well-defined data roadmap to align with internal target to elevate data management, data strategy, and maximizing the ROI delivered through these requests
  • Optimize analytics workflows and governance process to improve consistency in taxonomy and integrity of internal data, align with cross-functional technical and business teams to define consistent analytics and data platform requirements for data engineering and product engineering teams 
  • Lead data analysts on the team to be future data product managers/owners 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of product management experience focused on building internal data products, data platforms, and self-service capabilities 
  • 8+ years of technical experience in: Advance SQL, data pipeline & data modeling, visualization tools (Tableau, Salesforce CRMA, others), building data roadmaps, and data analysis. Leverage these skills to visualize the solution, build the quarterly roadmap and sprint plans, resource allocation, and timelines
  • Experience with platforms like Salesforce, Marketo, NetSuite (or ERP), Sales forecasting tools required   
  • Strong experience in agile or scrum product development
  • Understanding of statistical concepts and analytics/engineering frameworks
  • Experience supporting multiple initiatives in parallel in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading a team of data/business analysts, and leading through influence across functional lines
  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical or related field
