 Ensure that the architecture and data pipeline leverage best practices in system, data and reporting standards,

integrity throughout the data pipeline
 Develop a deep understanding of data sources and know exactly how, when, and which data to use to solve
particular business problems
 Work closely with colleagues to implement and automate governing frameworks in order to uphold the highest
security standards across our data and our environments
 As part of development efforts, ensure that technical documentation is created and maintained, along with the
capture of business requirements and acceptance criteria that pertain to the technical solution
 Work with senior management and departments beyond the Modern Analytics department in analyzing and
understanding data sources, participating in design, and providing insights and guidance on database technology
and data modeling best practices
 Contribute to the continual improvement of the business’s data platforms through his observations and well-
researched knowledge.
 Keep a pulse on industry best practices and trends, offering opportunities for process and system improvements
 Monitor the existing metrics, analyze data, and lead partnership with other Data and Analytics teams in an effort
to identify and implement system and process improvements.

 Demonstrated ability to write clear code that is well-documented and stored in a version control system
 Experience in working with agile principles
