The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization, an organization within CE&S, is leading the effort to enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by harnessing leading, AI-powered capabilities and human expertise to deliver innovation solutions that accelerate business value, drive operational excellence and nurture long term loyalty.


The Global Modern Work Customer Success team is looking for a rockstar Data Analyst - Growth Bets to lead our Copilot data efforts. As customers look to move beyond year 1 of this new AI era, they are looking to extend beyond productivity gains to leverage AI to transform business value. Constructing an end to end data funnel to be able to monitor and adjust performance will be critical to enabling our customers to realize this vision!

This role will partner closely across the Modern Work Customer Success Team, working with the Field Enablement, Business Architecture and Modern Work Usage teams to drive success. It will also work with key partner organizations including the Specialist Sales Team (STU), Finance Leads, Data Science, Modern Work Marketing, Engineering and FastTrack.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years experience in Near Term Strategy (1-2 years out), Management Consulting, or Finance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years in finance or data science
    • OR Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 4+ years in data science or finance
    • OR equivalent experience
  • 4+ years experience in Management Consulting, and/or Finance.

Sales Strategy Enablement IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.

Responsibilities

Business Strategy

  • Conducts market-based research on industry across TAM growth, customer demand and competitive trends. Align closely with tech strategy, finance and marketing teams on key customer trends to inform Go To Market. Learn from field leader feedback on current model friction that could be addressed through changes.

Problem Solving & Insight & Judgement

  • Synthesizes findings into from research into Go to Market plan and other strategic projects. Think through short, medium and long term implications of strategy and partner closely across business strategy, tech strategy and partner teams to make a reality. Provide prioritization for key changes and investment needed to drive growth.

Communication

  • Communicates and advocates strategy and insights to senior business leaders (e.g., Senior Directors, GM-level, CVP) and conveys viewpoints through simple and consistent frameworks. Use executive presence to drive influence for broader decisions that have implications on strategy. Communicate changes clearly to stakeholders and field teams. Delivers learnings, recommendations, and implications to senior executives to facilitate ongoing feedback loop.

Business Management

  • Show command of the Usage business. Understand key levers for growth, how they relate to the data and be able to prioritize which levers to pull to drive highest ROI. Lead discussions on performance monthly, taking data, field feedback and partner feedback and synthese into a simple story for executives to understand through forums such as the Monthly Business Review.
