About the Role

We are in the early stages of our data team, so as a Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in taking ownership of a domain, educating stakeholders on how to leverage their data, and ultimately turning data into an important factor in business decision-making. Most of your work will be in SQL and Looker, where you will be analyzing and visualizing trends, insights, and recommendations to partners in the business. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be strong in SQL, skilled in data visualization, and able to work well with non-technical partners.

What You’ll Do…

• Visualize data in Looker for dashboarding and self-service business intelligence
• Use SQL to query core data warehouse tables, and create your own tables as needed with DBT
• Work cohesively with stakeholders to understand their issues top to bottom, break down those complex problems into key components, and provide timely and effective data solutions
• Improve data quality in both our business intelligence layer and production database
• Help establish the data team’s best practices and standards to ensure high quality work as we continue to grow

What You Bring…

• 2+ years of experience in a data analyst role
• Experience using SQL (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) to analyze and transform data
• Experience visualizing data in Looker, Tableau, Sisense, or similar tools
• Fantastic communication skills to make sure your insights can turn into action
• Business acumen to be able to understand which data products and insights will be actionable to stakeholders
• Project management skills and a demonstrated ability to work autonomously
• Experience with DBT, Git, Airflow, Python, or R is a plus
