A bit about this role:
The Clinical BI Analyst is a critical role collaborating with clinical and operational leaders to increase transparency, streamline metrics, and solve key challenges. This role directly supports Devoted Medical, our physician-led virtual and home-based medical practice. Devoted Medical is building clinical programs to manage and coordinate care in a manner consistent with Devoted’s values of treating every member like family. This individual will foster a data-driven culture by using their technical expertise to identify opportunities to improve key outcomes and operational efficiency, in the context of both established programs and new clinical initiatives. This individual will build trust among data consumers by ensuring data integrity and consistency in the BI layer. You will be working directly with business leads to understand business problems, capture requirements, and prioritize work.
Reporting into the Data Organization, you will work closely with many teams within the company (business teams, data science, product management, analytics engineering, data engineering, software engineering) to determine how best to measure and present our company’s performance. Familiarity with the Medicare Advantage space and related data highly desirable (e.g. Risk Adjustment scores, Stars measures, data validation requirements, etc.).
Responsibilities will include:
Developing deep domain knowledge in healthcare and how to measure and drive key performance indicators
Collaborating with business leads and data scientists to determine the most impactful work, executing, and iterating quickly
Streamlining metric definitions and tools, advocating for data governance while building a trustworthy reporting layer
Communicate findings and their limitations to leaders and teams
Working with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to build out necessary supporting data warehousing infrastructure in Snowflake or Devoted’s internal operating platform
Bringing an analytical mindset to every conversation across the company

Required skills and experience:
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Empathetic collaboration with business leads across the organization
Strong communication of technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Experience in the healthcare industry (and familiarity with the Medicare Advantage space)
3+ years experience with development in a BI tool (preferably Looker)
5+ years experience developing metrics and performing analytics
5+ years experience writing advanced SQL

Salary Range: $125,000 - $140,000 annually
