POSITION OVERVIEW

The Credit and Pricing Analytics team sits at the intersection of risk, marketing and finance and serves as a strategic partner for our senior leadership team. This team is responsible for providing credit and pricing policy for new loan customers, managing risk while driving growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to gain deep knowledge of installment loan business, as well as exposure to and insight from senior leaders across the risk management organization. You will be part of a fast-paced, growing, collaborative team, helping solve problems, drive impact, and deliver key insights by leveraging internal and external data.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and execute tests; develop hypotheses and analytical frameworks for understanding credit performance and pricing dynamics to recommend action plans
  • Support the development of strategies and practices, balancing customer experience, revenue growth and credit loss mitigations
  • Partner closely with marketing, finance, legal & compliance, and other cross-functional stakeholders to deliver the proposed risk and pricing strategies
  • Work with engineering team to build the most efficient tools, systems, and processes to automate and streamline the execution

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in an analytical role in the financial services industry and 3+ years of experience in A/B testing or experimental design preferred
  • Very strong attention to detail, experience developing processes to implement strategy
  • A self-starter - you naturally take ownership, look for opportunities, and drive recommendations through execution
  • Adaptive to a fast-changing environment and have the drive to get things done
  • Flexible in prioritizing work, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent SQL (or similar language) programming skills; proficiency in Python is a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or other analytical discipline. Master’s Degree preferred.
