What would I do at Litmus?

We're seeking an Analytics Engineer who is eager to learn cutting edge data technologies and enjoys working with a wide range of internal stakeholders to propel business impact together. You’ll work across the Marketing, Product, Finance, Sales, Business Development, and Customer Success teams to identify opportunities and directly influence corporate strategy.

On any given day you might:

• Work with large amounts of data from multiple systems, sources, and business divisions
• Interpret requests from stakeholders and translate those requirements into effective reports, visuals, and presentations
• Create and manage Data Integrations between the Snowflake Data Warehouse and 3rd party tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, Zuora, Mosaic, Tableau using integration tools such as Integrate.io and FiveTran
• Partner with Data, Engineering and Business teams to interpret business problems into technical projects and infrastructure
• Craft table design and architecture, transformation logic and efficient query development to support the growing needs of the data organization
• Build scalable data infrastructure and automate analyses and data pipelines, with the goal of enabling self-serve dashboards and automation of product experimentation results
• Present complex ideas with clarity and conciseness to technical and non- technical audiences

What is Litmus looking for in a candidate?

• Early professional with current experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or similar; an interest in creating BI dashboards is required 
• Advanced knowledge in SQL and database table design; you’re able to write structured and efficient queries on large data sets 
• Skillful in manipulating large data sets with high dimensionality and complexity
• Ability to produce data lineage; you’re able to document ingestion sources and the flow of data as it moves through pipelines and transformations
• Hands-on use of data visualization and Business Intelligence tools e.g. Tableau
• Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
• Strong communication skills to work with stakeholders to translate business needs and ideas into tractable technical work items.
• Nice to haves:
  • Experience with Python or R
  • Experience with an ETL tool such as Airflow or DBT
