What you'll do:
As a Senior Sales Operations Analyst, you'll partner with key stakeholders across the organization to build and implement scalable processes that enable GitLab's sales and solutions architect teams to achieve business objectives. You'll leverage your analytical and technical expertise to drive data-driven decisions and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include:
Sales Process Enhancement & Execution
- Partner with stakeholders to implement initiatives aligned with Sales and broader company objectives
- Drive process improvements through analysis and continuous refinement
- Prioritize high impact activities based on problem statements and success metrics
- Track, document, and communicate project progress to ensure timely delivery
- Develop clear and concise documentation for operational processes
- Translate business requirements into practical solutions that improve operational efficiency
Systems & Tool Optimization
- Utilize Salesforce, BI tools, and other systems to optimize sales operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system implementation and integration
- Identify and develop automation opportunities to reduce manual work
- Support the design and implementation of technical solutions
- Ensure system configurations align with business processes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with the Data Operations team to ensure data integrity and consistency
- Partner with sales leaders to identify and address operational challenges
- Work cross-functionally to implement solutions that scale with GitLab's growth
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively
- Contribute to GitLab's collaborative culture by sharing knowledge and best practices
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of progressive Sales Operations experience, preferably within an Enterprise SaaS organization
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Experience with CRM systems (particularly Salesforce) and business intelligence tools
- Demonstrated track record of implementing scalable processes and driving operational improvements
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to addressing challenges
- Strong project management capabilities and attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex information effectively
- Self-directed with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment
- A commitment to GitLab's values and our collaborative, results-oriented culture

The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of listed locations only. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. $84,000 - $180,000 USD
