Working at Atlassian
Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Assuming you have eligible working rights and a sufficient time zone overlap with your team, you can choose to work remotely or return to an office as they reopen (unless it’s necessary for your role to be performed in the office). Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
Does the challenge of scaling a fast-growing company by empowering it with data and analytical insight excite you? Using your business instincts, analytics mastery and creativity, you will support a market-leading product, from analysis through to action. If you love finding patterns amidst chaos, making quick decisions, and aren't afraid of being wrong, this could be a great fit!
You have a proven track record of delivering analyses leading to product or business strategy insights. You develop strong and trusted relationships with product executives and use your communication skills to change the way your partners approach problems, and influence product roadmaps. You are passionately driving your learning and growth in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will work closely with the Enterprise Trust product management team to ensure our cloud is secure and ready for our enterprise customers. Whether it's SSO, directory syncing, or enhanced security, you'll be focused on supporting a broad portfolio of enterprise administration features and capabilities through their product lifecycle. You will often use imperfect data to influence strategic company decisions under tight timelines. We're looking for someone who is excited about building a strong data foundation with analytical rigor and best practices to make us best of class. This is a role that will stretch you, accelerate your learning curve, and give you the chance to really leave your mark in the history of Atlassian.
On your first day, we'd expect you to have:
- Strong sense of accountability, self-drive, and the ability to function independently
- Extensive experience in analytics, statistics or closely related fields
- Proficiency in SQL and expertise in Python / R
- A strong intuition for crafting raw data and analysis into well-written and persuasive content
- The ability to prioritize your time wisely against multiple competing projects and requests
- Experience translating insights into decisions and actions that have a direct business impact
- Experience instrumenting data and supporting products and/or features through their lifecycle
It's great, but not required, if you have:
- Track record of presenting at meet-ups and conferences
- MS, MBA or PhD degree in a relevant topic
