We are seeking a Sr. Manager of Data & Analytics to join our team and lead the team to drive long term growth for the business by providing actionable analysis and empowering stakeholders across the business to make data-driven decisions. This person will lead and contribute to an Analytics team responsible for designing, collecting, and delivering information and insights to the organization. You will be a close partner to the business to develop and evaluate strategies through quantitative methods.

We are looking for someone who is curious and motivated by business problems and has the skills to design and implement measurement and experiment plans, manipulate large amounts of data, and answer strategic questions through analysis controlling for temporal and confounding factors.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing analytics team.
  • Manage data accessibility across the organization by developing, deploying, and maintaining software into our modern analytics stack, collecting, storing, cleaning, and delivering impactful data to the business. Using tools and programming languages such as: SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Segment, Fivetran.
  • Act as a consultant to the business to answer critical business questions with data
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, and Operation (among other departments) to structure data collection implementations
  • Perform and oversee data analysis tasks, including advanced analysis with statistical modelling to support all departments. 
  • Partner across the organization to define and evaluate performance indicators being used to evaluate strategies and initiatives, and assessing if these indicators are predictive of long term objectives.
  • Continuously improving our reusable data structures, to reduce repetitive manual report creation and increasing the capacity of the questions we can answer.
  • Present analysis findings to leaders across the company to drive action and decisions
  • Define and execute a data strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Partner with leadership to identify and prioritize analytics initiatives.

  • 6+ years of industry experience translating ambiguous business problems into data-driven solutions.
  • Proven experience managing analytics teams and leading data strategies.
  • Experience managing a data warehouse (Snowflake/BigQuery preferred).
  • Expert SQL skills; proficient python skills with applications in data analysis, statistical/ML modelling, and data engineering
  • Expert communication skills, with vast experience presenting analysis to stakeholders, clearly communicating findings and methods used.
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment, and a proven track record of driving impact.
  • You are able to ruthlessly prioritize based on what will drive the most impact for the company.
  • You are a lifelong learner, you are always learning new things and love to teach others.
  • You thrive in a fast paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a data intensive field such as Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or Psychology; advanced degree preferred.

Additional Details: 

  • This is a full-time exempt position headquartered in Denver, CO. Remote candidates considered. 
  • Targeted compensation range for this role: $150-160K/year, dependent upon experience.
