How will this role have an impact?

This is a key role on our Data team within Snowflake DW.  The person in this role should be familiar with the capabilities of Snowflake DW and relevant ELT/ETL Tools. This role would be accountable for proper design, implementation, and strategy.

What will you do?

• Develop new processes within Snowflake and Azure Data Factory
• Design, develop, and support core Data Warehouse and/or Data Mart processes
• Participate with other groups as necessary to proactively identify impact of other system changes to the extracts and engines
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Other desirable skills include:

• Ability to create detailed documentation and diagrams
• Understanding of various RDBMS products (Postgres, SQL Server, etc.)
• Deep understanding of data warehousing and reporting/analysis concepts

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience with Snowflake DW and Azure Data Factory
• Knowledge and experience with Modern ETL/ELT Tools
• Advanced developer skillset and ability to understand complex processes
• Ability to comprehend complex requirement documents, request clarifications when needed, and translate to code
• Excellent communication skills
• Data Modeling experience or knowledge (Kimball, data vault 2.0)
• Ability to mentor and share knowledge with other team members
