What you'll do
- Use data to understand complex customer experiences on Atlassian's website (e.g. www.atlassian.com, support.atlassian.com and confluence.atlassian.com). Analyze how customers navigate our website and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Define success metrics and report on KPI for Atlassian's websites. Research and explain trends and their impact on the success of the business.
- Accelerate web experimentation through best practices, tooling and clear recommendations.
- Build instrumentation and web tracking in collaboration with partners and engineers to establish a solid data foundation for this space.
- Collaborate with engineers, marketers & senior leadership to bring data to the forefront of decisions.
Your background
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or other quantitative fields
- Advanced proficiency in SQL
- Experience defining and auditing web instrumentation requirements and web analytics
- Experience designing and analyzing different types of web experimentation (e.g. A/B testing quasi-experimentation, rollout)
- Experience collaborating with senior management and translating insights into actions
- Ability for creating raw data and analysis into well-written content
- Proficiency with data visualization best practices and tools such as Tableau
- Familiarity partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Design, Finance, Customer Research and Data Engineering teams
- An agile development mentality, appreciating the benefit of constant iteration and improvement
