About the opportunity

Our team consists of small, agile development teams focused on building state of the art solutions from the ground up using the best technology available. We focus on cloud-based microservice and data solutions to help achieve fast, scalable results that allow our business partners the flexibility they need to compete in our competitive market.

Changing the world isn’t easy, and we have a lot of work ahead of us. From new product features to automation, to supporting microservice and data solutions, we’ve got more work than we can handle and we’re looking for great people to come along for the ride.

You will be expected to

• Design and Implement data driven strategies that transform processes to enable efficiency and scale

• Translate data transformation strategies into implementation plans, then execute on those plans to deliver requirements

• Respond to changing business requirements by adapting data stores to address current business conditions

• Work collaboratively with the business to create data marts that support business intelligence solutions

• Collaborate on, and implement solutions that enable Analysts to leverage Data Science tools and applications to drive improvements

We are looking for a professional who has

• Have solid experience with Data Analytics & Engineering experience, including Data Management, Architecture

• Have a demonstrable working understanding of at least one RDBMS (i.e. Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres)

• A demonstrable working understanding of at least one modern programming framework (i.e. Python, Pyspark, Spark) and at least one modern API framework (i.e. REST)

It would be great, if you had already had the opportunity to work with

• Can show us one or more passion projects or open-source work you have contributed to in your own time

• Have demonstrable experience with systems engineering and automation

• Have working knowledge of AWS, Snowflake, and dbt

• Enjoy hanging out with your team

• Learn how to use and leverage WEX’s Data Platform using documented standards & best practices
