Job Summary:

At Allstate, our People Analytics team is undergoing a transformative journey aimed at delivering the right products to drive business success. This evolution defines our identity and work culture. Currently, we are in search of a Data Steward Manager who will play a pivotal role in establishing and implementing enterprise HR data governance practices and strategies. Collaborating closely with our enterprise security and technology partners, this individual will spearhead the management, guidance, and governance of HR data usage on a global scale. The primary objective is to ensure a seamless governance framework that meets customer expectations while protecting our reputation.

The ideal candidate will swiftly position themselves as an authority in enterprise governance strategies, specifically tailored to support our People Analytics product offerings.

This position is a permanent remote home-based worker. Your home office does not need to be near an Allstate office, but it does need to be in the United States. This position is eligible for a monthly connectivity reimbursement to offset the costs of internet and phone expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguarding our reputation, employee privacy, and data assets.
  • Collaborating with the enterprise business compliance team to assess and mitigate HR data risks.
  • Balancing compliance and business requirements to support overall HR and People Analytics data and privacy strategy.
  • Maintaining data integrity within HR systems and products through regular audits, metric governance, and process documentation.
  • Evaluating product requests to adhere to global privacy regulations and implementing best practices when engaging third-party entities.
  • Overseeing access to People Analytics products.
  • Strategically promoting responsible data practices for analysis, decision-making, and result delivery.
  • Bridging technical concepts with business implications and capabilities to foster alignment and informed decision-making.
  • Providing training to teammates and partners on privacy best practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has supervisory duties.

Education and Experience:

  • 7 or more years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Functional Skills:

  • Ability to work with broad parameters in complex situations.
  • Advanced ability to manage multiple priorities given aggressive timelines; comfortable performing in a fast paced, dynamic and ambiguous business environment;
  • Expert ability to persuasively advocate a position, inspire trust and build momentum for change and action.
  • Broad understanding of enterprise business units.
  • Advanced data management, quality assurance and data flow skills.
  • Advanced oral/presentation and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage and coach others.
  • Decision making capabilities including problem solving approaches, decision frameworks.

Compensation offered for this role is $105,500.00-$178,250.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
