Title Forward is looking for a Data Analyst to delve into its data, deliver keen insight and identify key indicators of company performance. You will work directly with company leadership to pinpoint where the company can gain efficiency and improve service to our customers. What you’ll do
Work on a small team leading Title Forward, conducting analysis and building analytical reporting for the business leaders to plan for both the long and short-term.
Help model, forecast, and advise on budgeting and strategic planning.
Partner with different teams to integrate systems and data sources for analysis.
Build metrics to track and improve title operational effectiveness and efficiency.
Work with the business to increase data knowledge and drive data-driven decisions.
Translate data in to insights and information that is clear and easy to understand for business leaders and partners.
Who You Are
Sharp: You should have strong analytical and quantitative skills. You’ve got at least a B.S. in mathematics, statistics, operations research, engineering or one of the hard sciences.
Creative: You are able to build predictive data models and play with massive data set from various sources to find the best ways to turn data into research reports and insights. Your analysis will be used to improve performance within every team at the company.
Curious: Title Forward is looking for an analytical juggernaut that doesn’t stop at answering the “what” questions, we want someone who hungers for the “why” and “what if” questions. You are eager to learn our industry and operations in order to provide enhanced analysis.
Concise: Communicating your ideas clearly to folks who don’t share your passion for analytics is the mark of mastery.
Inspiring: You are a brilliant writer and an influential conversationalist.
Take-charge: You think like an owner and work to see your ideas put into practice.
Technologies We Use & Teach
SQL and Tableau wizardry are required as well as work experience in R (preferred), SAS or some other statistical or programming software
Experience with Python is a plus
Big data is also a plus: AWS (Redshift, S3, Spark), Cassandra
Experience in the real estate, mortgage or title insurance industries is a plus

This position is currently 100% remote. Technical equipment will be provided and training will be conducted virtually.

Starting Base Salary: $68,400.00 - 102,600.00.
